Attention Mechanics: Don’t Miss Your Reimbursement for Completing MR024

At NEIEP, we understand how important your time is, and we want to ensure you’re getting reimbursed promptly for completing the Mechanic Required CE course (MR024). However, we’ve noticed a recurring issue that we want to address to make sure you’re receiving your funds without delay.

What’s Happening?

Each week, NEIEP processes reimbursements for those who have successfully completed MR024. The checks are mailed directly to the address we have on file for you, but it seems that some of these checks are either going uncashed or being overlooked. We want to make sure you don’t miss out on the money you’ve earned. Please verify your address upon completion, check your mail regularly, and cash your checks in a timely manner to avoid any delays or issues.

What You Can Do

To ensure you’re receiving your reimbursement in a timely manner, we kindly ask you to take the following steps:

  1. Check your mailbox regularly: In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to miss important mail, and sometimes checks are unintentionally left unopened or misplaced. Keep an eye out for your NEIEP reimbursement checks.
  2. Cash your checks promptly: Once you receive your check, don’t let it sit around—cash or deposit it as soon as possible.
  3. Verify or update your mailing address: When you complete the MR024 course online, our learning system prompts you to verify or update your current mailing address before sending along the course completion info to accounting for reimbursement. If you have not received reimbursement for completing MR024, errors in your mailing address may have been accidentally entered or overlooked. To double-check your mailing address on file, login at neiep.org and click on the Profile button at the top left of your browser window to display your information. If you find discrepancies in your address, you can submit profile changes for approval at this page or send an email to support@neiep.org for assistance.

Direct Deposit as an Alternative Option

While we currently issue paper checks for these reimbursements, Direct Deposit is also available as an alternative for receiving your MR024 course completion reimbursement. Signing up for Direct Deposit will allow you to avoid any potential delays, and your reimbursement will be deposited directly into your bank account, so you won’t have to worry about misplaced or uncashed checks.

If you are interested in switching to Direct Deposit and are not a current NEIEP instructor, please contact our HR department by emailing HR@neiep.org for more information and assistance in setting it up.

In Summary

  • Look out for your checks after completing your courses.
  • Cash or deposit your checks promptly to avoid issues.
  • Double-check that NEIEP has your correct mailing address to ensure your checks are sent to the right place.
  • Consider signing up for Direct Deposit for a more seamless and efficient reimbursement process.

We are committed to ensuring that you are compensated for your time spent completing the Mechanic Required CE course, and we appreciate your attention to these details to help make the process smooth for everyone.
